Elektronaut was established to provide high-performance engineering that bridges the gap between sophisticated hardware and reliable, field-ready systems. The core of our engineering rigor comes from the experience of our founder, Dr. Konstantin Schauwecker. In 2015, he started Nerian Vision, a manufacturer of high-speed 3D cameras. In his role as lead developer, he architected four generations of vision systems and scaled the company to serve customers in over 35 countries before its acquisition by a major industry player in 2022. Today, Elektronaut brings that same product-focused discipline to every project we undertake.
Our Core Focus: 6-DoF Tracking Technology
Currently, our primary focus is the ongoing development and deployment of the Elektronaut 6-DoF Tracking System. This system represents our latest work in high-speed optical tracking, determining the 3D pose (i.e. position and orientation) of active infrared markers with millimeter-level precision in real time.
By leveraging advanced image processing and ruggedized hardware, we provide a robust solution for tracking and navigation in environments where traditional positioning systems often fail. The system is designed for high reliability in both indoor and outdoor industrial settings.
